Learn everything you need to know about choosing a college theater program in this workshop with Joe Price- Program Director, U of M Guthrie Theater BFA Actor Training.

This workshop is for high school students seeking the college program that best matches their career goals and skills. Mr. Price has helped hundreds of college students focus their college search and present competitive application/audition to top programs across the country. Selected students will present short monologues for the class and receive feedback from the perspective of the college audition panel.

3:00 p.m. - General overview of admission requirements
3:45 p.m. - Master Class: feedback and coaching on selected monologues

Date: November 4th from 3-5 p.m.

Location:  Lundstrum Performing Arts - Black Box Theater
1617 North 2nd Street, Minneapolis, MN 55411 (Free on-site parking available.)

Cost: $25 students, $10 parent audit

Joseph Price is the Program Director for the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater BFA Actor Training Program. Prior to 2012, he had extensive experience with A Red Orchid Theatre in Chicago, the University of Missouri, Kansas City/Kansas City Rep, Unicorn Theatre, Kansas City Actor’s Theatre, and Riverside Theatre. He is also the Artistic Director of the Artsbridge Summer Dramtic Acting Program. Price received his MFA from Southern Methodist University.
