Manager of Development Operations

Status: Full-Time Exempt
Salary Range: $49,000-$55,000depending on experience and qualifications
Job Purpose: Support Lundstrum Performing Arts’ mission of discovering talent and inspiring dreams through the performing arts. Advance the organizational mission by managing the CRM and business systems that support donor engagement, fundraising events and campaigns, organizational volunteers and stewardship efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
Database & Gift Management
Maintain and optimize the Salesforce CRM donor database for development use, and serve as company-wide resource, ensuring smooth integrations with data integrity, accurate entry, and timely gift processing.
Generate and analyze fundraising reports and lists to support fundraising management and reporting.
Oversee acknowledgment process, ensuring timely and personalized donor recognition.
Development Operations & Systems
Create and maintain efficient workflows for grant management, donor stewardship, and fundraising events.
Support all fundraising campaigns through data segmentation, results tracking, and expense management.
Ensure development records, and procedures comply with IRS, audit, and donor privacy standards.
Donor Engagement & Stewardship Support
Collaborate with internal teams on targeted appeals, donor communications, and stewardship strategies.
Provide logistical support for fundraising events.
Assist with prospect research and donor pipeline development.
Budgeting & Reporting
Assist the Director of Development with budget tracking, financial reporting, and revenue projections.
Monitor fundraising performance metrics and recommend data-informed strategies for improvement.

Qualifications - What we are looking for:
Experience — Strong CRM experience (Salesforce experience preferred) and organizational capabilities, as demonstrated in previous direct experience in fundraising team.
Communication — Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, must have ability to work as a leader of the team and partner collaboratively with external donors/volunteers and internal teams.
Technical Skills — Excellent verbal communications skills and demonstrated ability to write clearly and persuasively. Strong computer skills and strong attention to detail. Commitment to data accuracy and donor confidentiality.
Adaptability — Ability to work in a professional and positive manner with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Able to work independently and within a team.
