Our musical theater intensives and evening classes are taught by professional performers and are seriously fun. Students are absorbed in a creative environment with experienced and passionate teaching artists of music, dance, and acting. Kids will make new friends and new memories. Don’t miss out!
2025 Musical Theater Intensives
Lundstrum summer intensives begin with morning technique classes taught by Broadway professionals and local performing artists. The morning classes include ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, singing & vocal performance, acting and more. Classes are leveled to accommodate the differences in dance and acting experience.
Lundstrum will at times cast alumni as guest artists to be part of the productions. This has proved to be a great learning experience for our younger students as well as an impactful way to mentor our youth.
NEW STUDENTS to Lundstrum ages 8-17: A placement audition is required before registering for a musical theater intensive. Click here to schedule your audition.
NEW THIS YEAR: $25 registration fee. This fee holds your space in the camp and is non-refundable.

The Broadway Junior adaptation of the classic novel and award-winning musical springs to life with some of the most memorable characters and songs to ever grace the stage.

Musical Theater Intensive II
High School Musical
July 8-Aug 3, 2025 (4 weeks) | PErformances: Aug 1, 2 & 3
Ages 14-18: Monday – Friday, 10 am – 4 pm

Disney Channel's smash hit movie musical comes to life on your stage! Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High must deal with issues of first love, friends and family while balancing their classes and extracurricular activities.
Non-refundable registration fee $25
New students to Lundstrum must sign up for a placement audition.
2025 SUMMER EVENING CLASSES
Summer evening classes run Mondays and Tuesdays for six weeks. These musical theater classes are specially designed for our younger aged students. Both new and returning students will enjoy the Broadway themed songs while honing their performance skills in a nurturing environment. Classes start Monday June 9 – Tuesday, July 15

A nurturing musical theater class with live accompaniment for young performers to have fun and grow in confidence as they learn the basics of dance and creative play.
Performing Arts Workshop

Great for young performers wanting to reach the next level! Students learn Broadway style numbers as they practice dancing, singing and acting with live accompaniment.
ADULT TAP
AGES 18+

Some tap experience required.
For adults wanting to improve their tap skills in a social environment taught by Rick Ausland. Learn the vocabulary of tap, rhythms, weight changes and innovative choreography in this invigorating and supportive class.

A fun musical theater class with live accompaniment. Students will grow in confidence as they learn the fundamentals of dance, song and creative play.
HIP HOP

Students engage in high energy, urban street style dance, using a variety of movements from percussive to fluid. This upbeat class is designed for beginning-intermediate learners.

DANCEMANIA
AGES 13+

Creative movement and musical theater adapted for students with special needs and star power! Performers study acting, dancing, and singing with their peers and live accompaniment. PCAs can participate for free.

SUMMER Private Lessons
Lundstrum Performing Arts offers individual lessons and coaching in singing, acting and dance for ages 8 and up. Instructors will help you discover your true voice and cultivate good performance habits. Private lessons will help you become a more confident performer.
